Painting and photography always lead parallel paths in Seze’s artistic vision. Her love of art continued at Bard College, where she double majored in Sculpture and Photography. At Bard she started to create camera-less photographs (photograms) that explore the potentials of light and color through abstraction. In 2001 she received a Masters in Photography from The School of Visual Arts, where she was awarded the Aaron Siskind Scholarship/Chairman’s Grant.
She has exhibited her unique camera-less process in numerous solo and group shows in the United States, Turkey, and France. Her photograms gained worldwide recognition and were highlighted in the photo textbook “Exploring Color Photography.” Seze has taught photography at Kutztown University, The International Center of Photography, and 3rd Ward. In June 2007, Seze curated an exhibition on contemporary psychedelic art called “Love’s Secret Domain” in Brooklyn.
Please contact Seze if you need a professional photographer for your promotional work, commercial shoot, event, or project.
